VMAX Rising is a Japanese enhanced expansion in the Sword & Shield era, released in February 2020. It debuts the Pokemon VMAX mechanic, headlined by Charizard VMAX alongside the Galar starters Rillaboom, Cinderace, and Inteleon in their VMAX forms. The premier chase card is Charizard VMAX, with Rainbow Rare and Full Art secret rares rounding out the set.
