Violet ex (SV1V) is a Japanese Scarlet & Violet main expansion released in January 2023 alongside its counterpart Scarlet ex. It introduces the Pokemon ex mechanic and Terastal cards, headlined by the box legendary Miraidon ex with additional ex Pokemon such as Arcanine ex. The Special Art Rare Miraidon ex is the set's top chase card, joined by other alternate-art ex Pokemon and gold secret rares.
