Sword is one of the two paired base sets that launched the Japanese Sword & Shield era in December 2019. It introduces the Pokemon V mechanic and is themed around the Legendary wolf Zacian, with a card lineup that differs from its Shield counterpart. The standout chase card is Zacian V, including its Full Art secret rare printing.
