Battle Partners is the ninth main expansion of the Japanese Scarlet & Violet series, released in January 2025. It revives the Trainer's Pokemon mechanic, pairing famous trainers with their partners through cards such as N's Zoroark ex, Lillie's Clefairy ex, Iono's Bellibolt ex, and Hop's Zacian. Chase cards include Special Art Rare treatments of the featured trainer-and-Pokemon duos alongside the set's Ultra Rare secret cards.
