How pre-orders work
A pre-order lets you reserve upcoming products before their official release. Pre-order items show a release date, and reserving early puts you first in line for allocation.
Allocations
We are an independent distributor and we source through established supply channels rather than holding an official distribution agreement on every line. New releases are allocated to us through that supply chain, and demand often exceeds the stock available. The quantity you pre-order is a request, not a guaranteed amount. If our allocation is reduced, your quantity may be lowered or, in some cases, the order canceled. We always confirm the final quantity with you before you pay.
Order the full quantity you want during the pre-order window. Once it closes, what we have been allocated is what we have, and topping up afterwards is usually not possible. Reserving early and in full is what puts you at the front of the queue when supply is short.
A pre-order is a firm commitment. If you place a pre-order and then do not complete payment once your allocation is confirmed, we reserve the right to suspend your account permanently. A suspended account can no longer place orders with us.
How it works
-
1Place your pre-order before the date shown on the product page. It stays open until that date or while supplies last, whichever comes first.
-
2Secure your spot. If a deposit applies to your account, we let you know, and paying it locks in your reservation.
-
3We send your proforma. Once our allocation arrives, we confirm your final quantity and price for you to approve and pay. Shipping is not included in the pre-order price: the checkout cannot work out freight before we know the weight of your order, so we quote it on that final proforma alongside the balance.
-
4We ship once your order is paid and the stock reaches us, around the release date.
Deposits
Whether a deposit applies depends on your history with us, and is always decided at our discretion. We will let you know when you pre-order.
- Established accounts can reserve with no deposit and pay in full on the proforma at release.
- New accounts may be asked for a refundable deposit (20%) to secure their pre-orders. As you build a track record with us, we waive it.
Your deposit is fully refundable. If we cannot secure your allocation, the deposit is returned to you in full. If your allocation is confirmed, it is applied toward your total, so you only pay the remaining balance.
Release dates can move
Release dates are set by publishers and manufacturers, not by us, and they change. Factory scheduling, shipping windows and international freight can all push a delivery past the announced date. What we commit to is securing your allocation and telling you where it stands; we cannot commit to a date we do not control. By placing a pre-order you accept that the release date shown is indicative.
